How to get a VAT invoice from a Senukai receipt

Senukai issues an electronic VAT invoice through its self-service at www2.senukai.lt/esfsavitarna using the object id, receipt number and total, after a security code. kvitas.app prepares the details and you confirm.

Why the receipt is not enough

A cash receipt is not a VAT invoice, so without one the input VAT stays unclaimed. The one exception is a fuel receipt up to 150 EUR that carries the buyer’s details, which Lithuanian VAT law treats as a VAT invoice in its own right.

Which receipt details matter

The Senukai self-service needs three things: the object id, which is the store code, the receipt number entered without asterisks, and the total with two decimals. All three are printed on the receipt.

How to do it yourself

  1. Open www2.senukai.lt/esfsavitarna.
  2. Enter the object id, the receipt number and the total.
  3. Copy the security code from the image.
  4. Fill in the legal entity details and click create invoice. Download the generated PDF.

Deadline and limits

The deadline for issuing an invoice is being confirmed and this page will be updated.

How kvitas.app does it

You send a photo. We read the object id, the receipt number and the total, check the details by your company code and return a link with everything prepared. You copy the security code, and the invoice is generated within seconds. We never circumvent security measures, which is why this retailer is marked “with your confirmation”.

Common problems

Receipt not found: the receipt number was entered with asterisks or the total without cents. Security code rejected: copy it again, letters and digits must match exactly. Wrong object id: check that you took the store code and not the till number.

Frequently asked questions

What is the object id?

The code of the store where you bought, printed on the receipt. The self-service finds the purchase by it and the receipt number.

Why can't kvitas.app issue the invoice automatically?

The Senukai self-service requires copying a security code from an image. We do not circumvent such checks. We prepare the details and hand you a link that you finish yourself.

Can a natural person be named?

Yes, the self-service accepts both legal entity and natural person details, but kvitas.app is built for businesses.

Does it work for fuel receipts?

Fuel receipts do not need an invoice. Under Lithuanian VAT law a fuel receipt up to 150 EUR that identifies the buyer already counts as a VAT invoice.
