How to get a VAT invoice from a Depo receipt
Depo has its own invoice site at saskaitosfakturos.depo-diy.lt. The exact procedure is still being confirmed. What is known now and how kvitas.app will help once it is confirmed.
Why the receipt is not enough
A cash receipt is not a VAT invoice, so without one the input VAT stays unclaimed. The one exception is a fuel receipt up to 150 EUR that carries the buyer’s details, which Lithuanian VAT law treats as a VAT invoice in its own right.
What is known about Depo
Depo issues invoices on its own site, saskaitosfakturos.depo-diy.lt, separate from the online shop. For invoice questions it gives the email address saskaitos.fakturos@depo-diy.lt. Exactly which receipt fields the site asks for, what the deadlines are and whether there is a security check are still being confirmed, so we do not describe what we have not verified.
How to do it yourself
- Open saskaitosfakturos.depo-diy.lt.
- Enter the receipt details requested. Keep the receipt until the invoice is in hand.
- Name the buyer.
- If the site does not work or cannot find the receipt, write to saskaitos.fakturos@depo-diy.lt.
Deadline and limits
Being confirmed. This page will be updated once we have verified information.
How kvitas.app will do it
Once the Depo procedure is confirmed, we will either issue the invoice automatically or prepare the details and hand you a link, depending on whether the site requires a human check. We never circumvent security measures in either case.
Common problems
While the procedure is being confirmed we do not list common problems. If you have tried it yourself and have notes, write to us at labas@kvitas.app, it helps confirm the procedure sooner.
Frequently asked questions
Does kvitas.app already convert Depo receipts?
Not yet. The Depo procedure is being confirmed and this page is marked as such. Once it is proven live, the page will be updated.
Who do I contact if the site does not work?
Depo gives the email address saskaitos.fakturos@depo-diy.lt for invoice questions.
Does it work for fuel receipts?
Fuel receipts do not need an invoice. Under Lithuanian VAT law a fuel receipt up to 150 EUR that identifies the buyer already counts as a VAT invoice.
