How to get a VAT invoice from a Norfa receipt

Norfa has no public self-service for invoices from a receipt. kvitas.app offers to write to the retailer on your behalf by email. What is known and how it will work.

Why the receipt is not enough

A cash receipt is not a VAT invoice, so without one the input VAT stays unclaimed. The one exception is a fuel receipt up to 150 EUR that carries the buyer’s details, which Lithuanian VAT law treats as a VAT invoice in its own right.

What is known about Norfa

Unlike Maxima or IKI, Norfa has no public self-service where an invoice can be issued from a receipt. The invoice must be requested directly from the retailer. The exact Norfa procedure is being confirmed.

How to do it yourself

  1. Keep the receipt. You will need the receipt number, date and total.
  2. Contact Norfa with the receipt details and your company details.
  3. You will receive the invoice by email or in store, depending on the retailer’s reply.

Deadline and limits

Being confirmed. This page will be updated once we have verified information.

How kvitas.app does it

For this retailer we offer the email route. We read the receipt, prepare a request with the receipt number, date, total and your company details, and send it to the retailer on your behalf. When the invoice arrives, we forward it to your email or folder. The exact procedure is being confirmed, so we will prove this route live before offering it to everyone.

Common problems

While the procedure is being confirmed we do not list common problems. If you have tried it yourself and have notes, write to us at labas@kvitas.app.
